Control System

Designed as a textbook for B.E./B.Tech. students of all disciplines, this book presents the fundamental concepts of Control System in a simple and easy-tounderstand language. Beginning with an introduction to the subject, this book discusses the transfer function of a single input-output system. Besides, it describes poles, zeros, characteristic equation, advantages, disadvantages, properties, etc. of a transfer function. Then, it goes on to discuss the block diagram, signal flow graph and modelling of a control system. Moreover, the book deals with the control system components, time response analysis, stability analysis and frequency response analysis. Further, it describes Bode plot, root locus analysis, polar plot, Nyquist plot and M & N circle. Finally, the book deals with the design and compensation of a control system, and state space analysis.
