Job Profile

Publishing plan and Editorial:

To supervise the copy-editing, layout and design of all assigned editorial projects and see them through to final handover to Production.            

To assist in maintenance of proper systems and procedures, and preparation of cost estimates and related documents.                

To take responsibility of planning and managing copy-editing schedules of assigned projects.                 

To copy-edit, design and see through to the final book form the assigned manuscripts within given schedules.

Coordination with other Departments and external vendors:

To coordinate with authors regarding content-related issues that may need to be resolved during the course of handling the project, in consultation with the Editorial Manager
To identify and train freelance editors/proofreaders to assist in assigned projects
To ensure harmonious and professional relations with suppliers

Supplementary: 


To attend and ensure whole-hearted participation in in-house training session(s), which could include preparation of presentations, case studies and slide shows 
To prepare and make presentations of new/revised courses, as and when needed.                                     

 

Job Requirement

Location: Delhi (Head Office)
Relevant Experience: 2-5 years
Min Qualification- Graduate/ Post Graduate
