Gaurav Jhunjhnuwala

Gaurav Jhunjhnuwala is the youngest Director on board of S. Chand Group. An alumni of Hong Kong International School, Hong Kong, Gaurav went for his undergraduate studies to Indiana University in Bloomington, USA.

Gaurav joined the group in 2010 in digital joint ventures, S. Chand Harcourt and S. Chand Edutech. After working through various elements of joint venture partnerships, digital content development, processes, marketing and business development areas, Gaurav joined the board in year 2011. Today, Gaurav heads the think tank and strategy team of digital vertical in the group with a help of dedicated, technical and management professionals. In past few years, Gaurav has taken various new initiatives in e-publishing, development of content for tablets and also now working on new technologies to fulfill the group’s vision of content across different medias and multiple technologies. A focused and committed professional, Gaurav is also instrumental in expansion of digital technology and media and was one of the key supporters to organize TEDx Tuglak Road in 2013 in New Delhi and also various seminars and workshops on 21st Century Education across India. Gaurav has travelled extensively worldwide and has developed a very refined appreciation for music during leisure.
