An entrepreneur in spirit and attitude, Mr. Himanshu has been a trend setter in the Indian Publishing industry. He was one of the first to adopters of technology in education in India, bringing out CD-ROM based educational material and launching the first student-teacher portals and implementing ERP solutions in publishing in India. Under his stewardship, the company became the first ISO - certified publishers. Himanshu understands the changing and evolving dynamics of digital education and has been instrumental in leading the group's first computer aided learning project e-Class for the government of Uttarakhand in India and has been instrumental in setting up S. Chand Harcourt, a joint venture with EMPGI.

His goal is to transform the Company into a 'Total Education Corporation' built on professionalism, best practices, empowerment and leveraging the assets and resources to their fullest.

A true young business leader to spirit and action, he continuously strives to take S. Chand Group to an international knowledge powerhouse. At the XIX New Delhi World Book Fair, 91 Titles of S. Chand's Children Books were launched under the supervision of Mr. Gupta, which manifests his scholarly convention of intellectuality.
