He is Professor of ECE & Vice Principal, GIT, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. He has more than 30 years of teaching & industrial experience. He had worked with research establishments like DRDO, MACE etc. before taking up teaching assignment. He has held many academic administrative posts in various capacities in GITAM University apart from his regular teaching activity. He has published more than 60 research papers in peer reviewed journals/ conferences. Dr. Raj authored text books in the areas of Electronic Devices & Circuits, Satellite Communications & Microwave Engineering with reputed international book publishers. He is an active researcher and his research fields are electromagnetic compatibility & antennas. He has carried out one major research project and also a consultancy project with well recognized organizations.
