M.A. (Patna), Ph.D. Indiana (USA) has had a distinguished academic career. He has specialized in the field of Educational Psychology, Special Education and Educational Statistics. He has been Professor of Education and Dean of Education as well as Principal of the Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, NCERT; and worked earlier as Asst. Prof. of Special Education at the Commonwealth University at Virginia, USA. As a researcher in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Education of SC/STs and Teacher Education, he has published over a hundred scientific papers in journals of repute, guided large numbers of doctoral researchers, and has served as member in various committees on Planning of Special Education in the country since 1981. He is the author of several books on General Psychology, Child Development, Instructional Psychology and Disadvantaged Children.
