  • Prize taxes (if any) must be borne by the prize winners only. All costs related to vehicle registration & insurance under the regulations are to be paid by the recipients only.
  • Only full-time and regular students at a recognized school are eligible for the scholarships. Under the flagship of S Chand And Company Limited, the one-time scholarship of Rs 10,000.00 (in cash), will be provided to the winners in the respective academic year. The winners must submit the required documents listed by the school to receive the scholarship.
  • A few lucky winners will get an opportunity to attend the prize distribution event.
  • No travel expenses will be paid by Company to the award winners to travel and attend prize distribution event. One additional person can accompany the winners to attend the event.
  • Books with the original hologram must be presented at the time of prize collection, defaced/damaged book will not be accepted. The Company shall have full right to disqualify the winner.
  • Company will not be responsible for any damage or any claim after awarding the prizes. But in any case, if the warranty is valid, it is up to the prize recipient to verify the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
  • From time to time, Company may organize promotional activities towards various competitions, prize giving ceremony, etc. It shall be presumed that the winner has consented for giving his/her name, photo, residential address to use for such promotional activities, which will be considered as the sole property of S Chand And Company Limited.
  • All other personal information of contestants collected as part of the competition will be used/stored in accordance with Company’s privacy. Only buyers can participate in the competition. Company employees, booksellers, dealers, agents, and any person connected with the business activities (or any member of her/his family) cannot participate in this competition.
