He was Principal, University Commerce College, Jaipur, and Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Administration and Financial Management (EAFM), University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Earlier, Dr Kothari had taught at Government College, Ajmer. He contributed research papers/articles to several research journals of repute. He also wrote An Introduction to Operational Research for Vikas Publishing House.
