Shi is a Professor, Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Gudlavalleru, Andhra Pradesh, India. She received B.E from Mysore University, M.E from IIT, Roorkee, UP and Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur. She is in the teaching profession for last 30 years. She published more than 75 Research Papers and presently guiding 5 Ph.D. Scholars.
