S Venkatesh, is on the faculty of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He holds a doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a degree in law. His current areas of academic interest are mainly in information and its use in decision making in a variety of contexts, both internal and external to an organization.
