She is Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Gitam Institute of Technology, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, where she has been teaching for the past 14 years. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Professor in GMRIT, Rajam for one year.
