She is a postgraduate (first class) in Business Economics from the University of Delhi. She obtained her MPhil and Doctorate from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her area of specialization is Human Development. Dr Bhakri is also interested in analyzing the issues of microeconomics. She has contributed articles in international journals and Research Papers in the International Conferences held in France and Nepal. Dr Suman Bhakri is currently serving as an Associate Professor in Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
